Under the neon lights of a sleeping city,
I walk alone with my memories.
I’ve seen my doubts dance in the night,
Like ghosts refusing to fade from sight.

Sometimes I thought I had to run,
Close my eyes to feel no more pain.
But every wound helped me grow,
In silence, I learned to smile again.

Towards the light I’ve been seeking.
