The light grows dim, the living room sleeps,
Silence is tracing the shape that you keep.
Time stops breathing—or slows in its flight,
We lose the world, we lose the night.
Lay your hand here, resting on my shoulder,
Let our two quiets gently grow bolder

Tomorrow will come with its questions and plans,
