A hot coffee on the bright terrace
The sun dances and warms my hands
A light breath but doing nothing
The world is waking up and I expect nothing
A steaming coffee in the clear morning

This soft light that crosses the air
A smile offered without asking for anything
Discreet moments that we don't know how to keep

It is six o'clock
Morning opens on this terrace
And this large warm cup in my hands

The night draws on, the streets become quiet
A quiet step, the moon disarms us
The lanterns shine, the hours pass suspend
Our lives invite each other and our shadows hear each other
